I was "fortunate" to be the collector of personal/medical info for a recent organized outing, for which the medical forms were to list all current medications for the 100 or so kids and parents we had going. I could not believe the number and scope of kids AND PARENTS who were on heavy psychoactive medications. We had entire families being medicated on these things!

I truly wonder if people realize what's happening to our society here.

Great post - I believe in consistent parenting so much that i wrote a whole website dedicated to consistent parenting advice. Yes, I agree that boys would benefit from consistent limits and boundaries that they KNOW they can trust. Parents seem to be frightened to be firm and consistent and our children miss out on this vital part of parenting.
